Love Letters
The newest collection of poems by Susan Windle, published in December 2007. A secular invitation to communal prayer, Love Letters “celebrates,” in the words of the poet, “the ‘us-ness’ of us, the indisputable and essential nature of our belonging to one another and to the earth.” The poems are vital acts of justice-seeking and peace-making, intended to be used for the curing of the human heart and the salvation of the species.
“Loving letters, loving words, loving worlds and lines of poetry, loving earth and earthlings; eyes open, ears open, mind open and precise -- .... How could any reader help but love you back?”
--Rabbi Arthur Waskow, co-author of The Tent of Abraham.
